Sponsor money pledged on Sunday is well over £400 now with another £100 + given to me this week including that from the COSCA Girls whom I had lunch with today in Stirling.
I feel very priviledged to be able to raise so much money for Spinal Research by realising my own dream of climbing Kilimanjaro.

2 months to go!!

Wow!! raised another £361 today at the end of the service. Thanks to everyone who has faith that I can have my photo taken on Uhuru Peak, Kilimanjaro on 27th August 2009.
I've also been invited to give my testimony at Trossachs Praise on Sunday 5th July - Thanks to Bruce Wallace.
Then it's up north to complete the Speyside Way the following weekend. Yippee, can't wait!!

That's me cracked the £3,000 fundraising mark, only £2,000 left to achieve. Yippee!!!

This is the first day of my blog.
I want you all to know I'm working hard towards my goal of climbing Kilimanjaro.
This morning while you were all in your beds, snug and dry I was out walking for 1 hour between 6 and 7am in the pouring rain! I was spurred on by listening to Paul Scanlon on my ipod.
My friend Wendy and I are building this blog together to keep you informed about my progress.
I will try to blog as often as possible to let you know what stage I'm at.
I'm so delighted at the amount of support and money I have received so far from friends near and far.
